Each year, in summer and winter, you have the opportunity to join a residency at Le Grippault. You might be a theatre-maker, writer, composer, musician, visual artist, filmmaker, or (applied) scientist.

For one or two weeks, you will work in a calm yet creatively charged environment, focusing on your own research or project that connects with our social and artistic vision and with the surrounding landscape.

During your stay, you will live alongside other residents in a close-knit community. You will work both independently and collaboratively keeping an open and inquisitive eye on artistic, social, and ecological questions, and on the (theatre of) nature itself.

Living and exchanging ideas with makers and researchers from other disciplines and backgrounds can spark fresh perspectives and inspiration. You are responsible for the direction of your own project. If desired, we are here to listen, to advise and provide tailored support by connecting you with local and regional people and institutions.

Practical information
You’ll have a private room with its own bathroom. In addition, you are invited to work in the three spacious common rooms. You can make use of the shared kitchen and the full grounds.
